Some information regarding (2 RROD - Overheating) errors and our repair methods used.

2 RROD errors are usually a result of Overheating inside the console. The Ram chips are like memory banks. They store loads of bytes of information including temperature sensor levels. If there was an instance where the console was exceeding its past operating temperature then the Ram memory would remember this and then the next you switched on your console, WHOOSH goes your internal fan as it spins at its highest speed probably sounding like a jet engine.

The overheating that has occurred sometimes causes a Cold Solder joint underneath the Ram chips. This is caused by the constant heating up and cooling down which the console undergoes.

Our Reflow process address the Ram chips directly rather than doing an X-Clamp fix and “hoping” it will somehow fix the problem.
